About This Website

I am a machinima director who strives to create original, story driven films, mainly using Valve's Source Engine.

Also, I am associated with Daemon Productions, and regularly help others with cinematography, writing, voice acting, and editing.

With over two years of experience as a filmmaker, I am currently engaged in a drama miniseries "Reunion," a collaboration "Without Honor," and numerous more distant projects.

Progress Update (nice title huh?)

So, Reunion's going along efficiently so far. I've been ensuring at least one script page gets storyboarded per day, and I'm coming up with some really nice results. Filming will probably start soon and run alongside that, while voice acting is a wip.

Reunion Pre Production in full swing

Hey there. Reunion's still steaming along....

WRITING
-Part 1 and 2 in final draft shooting script form
-Part 3-5 in near final form

PRE-PRODUCTION
-Visual style developed
-Reach locations for part 1 and some of 2 scouted
-Main source sets are mostly planned
-3/4 core voice acting roles casted
-Reach armors selected

This might just actually happen. Sorry for taking so long to update the site, been busy at work.

Daemon Productions Website Launch

Hey, after some technical work from Sarge, our group now has an official website, complete with forums, articles, reviews and more.

http://daemonpro.net/

Considering how Virtual Flicks has changed, and how M.com no longer has boards, this will probably be my lair from now on. I encourage you guys to join us there!

Reunion: In Casting

With the scripts growing close to finalized form, casting has begun.

Currently I'm just in talks for the main six or so roles. It's tricky stuff to find the right people for in terms of both voice and acting ability. A cast list will be posted once everything's been confirmed.

Reunion will be massive

Just working on some scheduling right about now, trying to plan this out. I have a roughly 7 month timeframe to create Reunion, and it's a pretty damn large script (which I also finished).

I'm looking forward to the challenge, and I intend to make this my best work.

So far, the scripts total about 90 pages. I'll be doing major editing on them in the coming weeks, and then get fully into gear with pre production and storyboarding.

I'll keep updates flowing on the site - I could use the extra organization/accountability myself.

Updates

Hey, been hard at work...most of the time.

Reunion is going swimmingly. I won't discuss the details, but I've written three parts so far that amount to a total of about 50 pages. This is going to be huge - that's how I roll, though. Soon, I imagine we'll be ready for pre-production (storyboards ahoy).

A new project has cropped up. We're collaborating with Martyn Tranter on a standalone film, Without Honor. I'll be the cinematographer and I'm very excited to get working on it.

Dead Letters is likely on hold for some time, as Reunion has taken priority and voice actors are slowing things down a bit.

Trade Secrets is in the same boat as DL, for now. I don't care if I have to make it when I'm retired, it's gonna happen.

Changes in focus

Sorry for the lack of updates - I've been trying to figure out just what is new.

REUNION (priority)
Reunion, a miniseries I've had in mind for quite some time, fits perfectly into the group's new Halo Legacy saga. I'm working consistently on this one and have written about 35 of an estimated 60 pages worth of screenplay. It's a halo/source hybrid taking place in the halo universe, and it should be something to see indeed.

TRADE SECRETS (backburner)
I'm working on this one more than usual, with Dead Letters being...dead in the water. So far I've been doing a great deal of set/art design.

DEAD LETTERS (stalled)
Because my lead voice actor has pretty much bailed and run into the forest, no progress can really be made here. It remains to be seen whether that will be worked out.

Slow Going

Due to voice acting complications, I haven't been able to do much more on Dead Letters. Hopefully I'll be back on that soon. Here's a promo pic, nonetheless.

As for Trade Secrets, significant set design and writing work has been going on.
